Reasoned Memories

  • Monsignor William Barry Memorial Library, Barry University 69 Northeast 115th Street Miami, FL, 33161 United States (map)

“Reasoned Memories” uses the “Mask” to tell the origin stories of each of the 16 Artists Participating.

The exhibition is an invitation to outstanding creators, from various countries around the world, to summarize in a single piece their MEMORIES and their experiences as migrants in this country.

The technique suggested for this will be head faces or masks, pieces that are characterized by containing a deep aesthetic and artistic language, symbolizing the mysticism of each people and representing their customs and beliefs.

For their part, the artists will be able to show, through their relationship with materials, a piece curated exclusively for this exhibition, in which color, textures and shapes relate to each other.
